I'm interested in visiting Kanavagam. Is that possible? When's the best time to visit?
Absolutely, you’re more than welcome to visit Kanavagam at any time! However, we kindly ask that you notify us in advance by emailing info@kanavagam.org. To accommodate the children’s busy schedules on weekdays, we suggest planning your visit on Sundays.
Can I choose and sponsor a specific child? Would I be able to interact with them?
We don’t currently offer such a sponsorship program. This decision stems from the fact that levels of sponsor involvement can vary greatly, potentially causing disparities among the children. Our goal is to maintain equality among all kids.
Can I celebrate my or my child's birthday by providing clothing and food for the children?
We don’t let outsiders celebrate their significant days by providing food to our children; we maintain this policy to ensure that the children don’t feel as though they are recipients of charity. However, we celebrate each of our kid’s significant days at Kanavagam. You are welcome to join us to celebrate their significant days.
Can I bring gifts for the kids when I come to visit?
We appreciate your generosity, but we kindly request that you refrain from bringing gifts. Our intention is to avoid creating expectations among the children when visitors come.
How can I contribute and support your cause?

Can I bring food and eat with children
We do not encourage outside food. However, you are welcome to have home-cooked meals prepared at Kanavagam and eat with our children.
